1. Requirements to Start Training
To begin training at our driving school, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: The student must be at least 18 years old. If the student is younger, parental or legal guardian consent is required.
- Medical Certificate: The student must provide a medical certificate confirming their ability to safely operate a vehicle.
- Documents: A valid identification document (passport or ID card) is required. If the student is a minor, parental or legal guardian consent is required.
- Financial Guarantees: The student must be prepared to pay for the course in accordance with the driving school's terms, which may include prepayment for theoretical and practical lessons.
- Language Proficiency: Successful training requires proficiency in the language of instruction. Our driving school conducts lessons in Estonian, and insufficient language skills may hinder understanding of the material.
2. Reasons for Refusal of Admission
The driving school may refuse admission for several reasons:
- Insufficient Age: If the student has not reached the minimum age required to start driving training.
- Medical Restrictions: If the student has medical contraindications that may prevent safe vehicle operation.
- Violations: Recent or serious traffic violations or criminal offenses may be grounds for refusal.
- Insufficient Language Proficiency: Insufficient language skills may be grounds for refusal, as this may hinder understanding of the course material.
- Previous Training Experience: If the student has been expelled from another driving school for rule violations or disciplinary issues, this may affect the admission decision to the new school.
- Limited Resources: Sometimes driving schools may limit the number of students due to a lack of instructors or training vehicles.
- Financial Problems: If the student cannot provide proof of their ability to pay for the course, this may also be a reason for refusal.
3. Reasons for Termination of Training
The driving school may terminate the training of an already enrolled student for the following reasons:
- Disciplinary Violations: Violating the driving school's rules of conduct may lead to expulsion. This may include aggressive behavior, threats, or disrespect towards instructors or other students.
- Unsatisfactory Progress: If the student does not show progress in learning theory or driving practice, this may be grounds for expulsion, especially if they do not meet basic safety requirements on the road.
- Absenteeism: Regular absence from theoretical or practical lessons without a valid reason may lead to expulsion from the course.
- Document Forgery or Fraud: Providing false information or documents during the admission to the driving school or during the training process may result in expulsion.
- Alcohol or Drugs: Operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs during driving lessons is strictly prohibited and is a serious reason for expulsion.
- Traffic Violations: Serious or repeated traffic violations during training, especially those that endanger the safety of other road users, may lead to expulsion from the driving school.
- Non-payment of Tuition: If the student does not fulfill the financial obligations for tuition payment by the agreed deadlines, this may also be grounds for expulsion.
- Failure to Meet Contractual Obligations: Violating the terms of the contract signed with the driving school may lead to the termination of training.
